The multi-talented Rishab Shetty, director and headliner of the much-awaited Kantara Chapter 1, is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and fans cannot keep their calm about it. The first look and glimpses have already fueled the audience’s excitement towards the project, and today the makers just announced that the Hindi trailer of the worldwide release will be launched by superstar Hrithik Roshan, which has added another layer of excitement to the already buzzing anticipation.Tomorrow’s the Kantara Chapter 1 Hindi trailer launch.

The film is directed by Rishab Shetty. According to Pinkvilla, the film’s digital rights have been sold to tienda online Prime Video for a staggering Rs 125 crore. This discount makes it one of the highest ever for a Kannada-origin film, second only to the pan-India blockbuster KGF 2. The report stated that “tienda online Prime has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of Kantara: Chapter 1 for a hefty sum of Rs 125 crore. It’s among the highest of all time for a film of Kannada origin, certainly the second-best after KGF 2. The platform has bagged all language streaming rights.”

The film is set for a worldwide release on October 2 and will be released in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English. A massive war sequence, involving over 500 trained fighters and a crowd of 3,000 people, was shot over 45-50 days in a specially constructed 25-acre town built on rugged terrain. This scene alone is expected to be one of the most epic sequences ever seen in Indian cinema, and everyone is excited to see what’s coming.
