Paul Teal’s memory lives on.
Almost nine months after the actor’s death from cancer at the age of 35, his final television series The Hunting Wives paid a heartfelt tribute to him.
The Netflix drama’s seventh episode ended with a message appearing on the screen, reading, “In loving memory of Paul Teal.”
Paul, who also appeared on season seven of One Tree Hill, died on Nov. 15 in North Carolina after a seven–month battle with Stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer, his partner Emilia Torello confirmed to TMZ at the time. She also shared that he filmed The Hunting Wives during his cancer battle, saying that the cast and crew helped encourage him during the difficult time in his life.
“Paul, you were my soulmate, my soon-to-be-husband, my rock, and my future,” Emilia wrote on Instagram following his death. “You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies, and my heart with love. You were taken too soon, in a battle that you fought bravely without fail.”
