Jan Ravnik is addressing comments made by Maksim Chmerkovskiy about his abilities to be a pro on Dancing With the Stars.
The 30-year-old dancer was a new pro on the show’s current 34th season, but he and his celeb partner Jen Affleck were just eliminated on Tuesday night‘s (October 28) episode.
During a post-show interview, Jan was asked how he feels about Maks and his wife Peta‘s comments from her podcast, and getting the support from Jen, judge Derek Hough and more.

“I have no comment on that. Look, I got all the love on this show. All the pros, from the judges also. Everyone gave me so much love,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
“Whoever is saying outside is trying to stay relevant and spreading the hate,” he continued. “This is not a way to do it. I will never spread or take the hate.”
If you missed it, during a recent episode of Peta‘s podcast, The Penthouse with Peta, Maks slammed the decision for Jan to be a pro on the show, saying he has no business being a pro and that he is not qualified for the position. Peta agreed and said she thinks he was only hired because he was a dancer on Taylor Swift‘s The Eras Tour.
Jen stuck up for Jan with a TikTok post, and others praised him on the show during Tuesday’s episode.
