
Jane Goodall‘s cause of death has been confirmed.
If you did not see the news, the trailblazing primatologist and conservationist passed away at the age of 91 just a few weeks ago on October 1.

TMZ has obtained a copy of her death certificate, which lists her cause of death as “cardiopulmonary arrest,” which is another way of saying cardiac arrest. Her death was considered of natural causes.
Her death certificate also shared that Jane had suffered from epilepsy.
She first observed chimpanzees in Tanzania in 1960, and studied their interactions and habits for the next 60 years. She was also named a UN Messenger of Peace, and an honorary member of the World Future Council. She was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2025.
