Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown’s father, former professional boxer Marselles Brown, has been arrested in Las Vegas on attempted murder charges.
According to police, the incident happened Wednesday at All American Park, where Marselles allegedly stabbed a youth football coach during a heated argument over a parking space. Witnesses say the verbal dispute escalated quickly, ending with the victim being stabbed in the stomach.
The victim’s condition has not been publicly released, and Las Vegas Metro Police confirmed an active investigation is underway.
Marselles Brown, who once had a career in boxing, is today facing serious legal trouble. His arrest has immediately drawn attention because of his connection to Jaylen Brown, one of the biggest names in the NBA today.
Jaylen Brown has not publicly commented on the situation.
