Jennifer Lopez is speaking out about her divorce from Ben Affleck.
The 56-year-old entertainer made an appearance on CBS News Sunday Morning on Sunday (September 28), where she reflected on the split and found an upside to the experience.

On the show, JLo called the breakup and the personal insight she got from it was “the best thing that ever happened to me.”
“Because it changed me,” she continued. “It helped me grow in a way that I needed to grow.”
Jennifer went on Sunday Morning to promote her new movie Kiss of the Spider Woman, which Ben serves as an executive producer on.
While recalling working on the film during a tough time in her personal life, she said, “It was a really tough time. Every moment on set, every moment I was doing this role, I was so happy, and then it was like, back home, it was not great. And it was just like, oh, you know, ‘How do I reconcile this?’”
After reconnecting, JLo and Ben were reported to be dating in April 2021 and were engaged a year later. The couple then tied the knot in July 2022.
Nearly two years later, Jennifer filed for divorce in April 2024, and by January 2025, it was finalized.
