Jennifer Lopez has found her feet since her shock split from Hollywood star Ben Affleck.
The pair reportedly settled their divorce earlier this year, and immediately the actress and singer, 56, has said in a new interview that the split is “the best thing that ever happened to me,” per reports.
She reportedly told CBS News Sunday Morning “because it changed me.”
The I’m Real and All I Have singer said as she promoted her new musical and thriller film Kiss of the Spider Woman, that the difficult time helped her grow as a person.
“It helped me grow in a way that I needed to grow… [I] became more self-aware, I am a different person immediately than I was last year, a year and a half ago.”
The Waiting For Tonight singer has been married four times. Her longest marriage, to fellow singer Marc Anthony, lasted a decade.
Her 2021 reunion with Affleck seemed like a full circle.

They first got engaged in 2002 after meeting on set of their film Gigli, but called things off before they got to the altar.
During a candid interview with Interview Magazine, she admitted, “I know that everything that’s being written and said about me, and all the conjecture of who I am as a person, is not who I am.

“And social media, because it came along after I had been in the public eye for a while, I don’t take it as seriously as everybody else.”
“And anything anybody could say about me – and please don’t get me wrong, if I see something that’s hurtful, I’m not Teflon.”

J.Lo recently touched on her heartbreak over Affleck and said she has no regrets over their failed – and decades-long – romance.
“Not one second,” she also candidly added while chatting to Nikki Glaser for Interview Magazine.
She also said she’s content and happy to be single for a while, adding, “I’m not looking for anybody” and that she is “free”.
