The fans could not be happier when the impersonation of Jennifer Love Hewitt and her ‘9-1-1’ co-star, Kenneth Choi, as Nelly and Kelly Rowland in the 2002 anthem ‘Dilemma’ track video was shown. The entertaining video that was shared by Deidre Behar Wellman, features the two stars of the show lip-syncing to the song in a hilarious manner during a behind-the-scenes segment from the set.

To be able to experience the beloved TV firefighters turning off their acting skills and pulling up an R&B classic of the early 2000s is not something that happens every day. Nevertheless, that is exactly what Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kenneth Choi have done in a really nothing but delightful new video. The video that was shared by Deidre Behar Wellman has the ‘9-1-1’ stars showing their commitment to the characters of Nelly and Kelly Rowland with the head moves and looks that are signature to the song.
While the video has the unmistakable catchy part of ‘Dilemma’, the actors Hewitt and Choi at the same time are mouthing the words, “Oh, I love you, oh, I need you.” The loudest context is very comical, yet the chemistry between the two actors, who portray Maddie and Chimney on the popular ABC drama, is palpable. It is a rare glimpse of the off-duty cast that the fans seldom get to see.
The post had a lighthearted inquiry directed to the original artists, “@nelly @kellyrowland how’d we do? 🤣🤣🤣” In addition, the caption tagged their co-stars and the official account of the show, thus making it a complete ‘9-1-1’ family gathering. The hashtags #dilemma and #dilemmachallenge hinted that they were part of a very popular social media trend.
The response from the followers was immediate and extremely positive. “Perfection lol! Ya’ll are good team Birthday Queen ❤️,” a user dubbed the performance and added that the post had a fun, festive atmosphere. Someone else just wrote, “Hahaha love this so much you guys are the best. ❤️👏,” which is reflecting the general feeling of the cast’s friendship.
One very sweet fan comment was regarding Kenneth Choi’s part of the costume where he looked “too cute” in his glasses, “Kenny in his adorable glasses 😍😄 I love everything about this.” It’s rather those small, humanizing details that make the video so genuine and lovable.
Even the poster engaged in the comments to humorously mock her celebrity friends. She commented, “@jenniferlovehewitt @kennethchoi_ next time, I’m gonna text you using excel 😂,” which is a very clever reference to the classic scene of the track video in which Kelly Rowland’s character sends a message to Nelly on a desktop computer.
There were very cheerful replies and a user, siarabehar, said, “Hahahaha this is too good!!!!!” then in a reply to their own comment, and it was about them being “trying to persuade JLH and KC to go this gig around!!!!” It is a sign of how convincing and entertaining their little performance really was.

What a frolicsome moment it was that it reminded so beautifully of the bond among the ‘9-1-1’ cast. In the rescue emergencies and dramatic stories, they do know how to have a good time and interact with their audience emotionally. The video is not just a humorous clip; it holds a piece of behind-the-scenes magic that the fans adore. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kenneth Choi not only remade a track video; they created a moment of spontaneous fun that was unforgettable and shareable. This Halloween season, her book “Fall Magic” has been getting attention, while the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” sequel is generating buzz. Additionally, a new Fox TV project inspired by Jennifer Love Hewitt was recently announced.
