Jenny Han says there’s an Easter Egg in The Summer I Turned Pretty that fans have completely missed!
Although fans have become experts in picking out every little detail in the Prime Video series, the creator says that they’ve missed one detail – and she doesn’t think anyone is going to find it!
Jenny spoke to Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview and revealed what the hidden detail is and why she doesn’t think fans will catch it.

Jenny has appeared in every season of The Summer I Turned Pretty so far. According to the author and series creator, she had a small cameo in season 3 episode 5 of the show and no one has noticed it was her yet.
“I do make a cameo in this episode,” Jenny told EW about the episode. “It’s just my voice. The reason why I’m even saying it immediately is because I don’t think anyone’s going to pick up on it, it’s like the tiniest thing, but it made me laugh.”
Even though Jenny doesn’t think fans will be able to catch her cameo in the episode, she’s still impressed with the number of things that fans have noticed hidden throughout the series.
“There’s definitely some that people have not picked up on, which I wouldn’t discuss until after everything’s out, and then you could look carefully for some of those little breadcrumbs,” Jenny told the publication.
