Democratic candidate for Boston Mayor Josh Kraft has mutually parted ways with his leading campaign advisers, the campaign announced Wednesday.Will Keyser and Eileen O’Connor, who are married, worked as political consultants on the campaign through Keyser Public Strategies. The Kraft campaign announced Keyser and O’Connor’s departure in a statement: “Josh is grateful for the professional leadership and support that Will and Eileen have provided to guide the campaign. Earlier this week, a mutual decision was made to part ways based on strategic differences as the campaign narrows to two candidates,” the statement read. “Josh looks forward to reaching every Bostonian with his vision for how to bring better housing and more opportunity to the city. ” Keyser Public Strategies also released a statement announcing the split:”We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Josh. We deeply respect and admire his many years of community service work, and wish him the best in his mayoral campaign.”The split comes just days before the preliminary election on Sept. 9.
