Jurors In Megan Thee Stallion’s Defamation Case Against Milagro Gramz Will Be Told Blogger ‘Deleted Thousands Of Text Messages, Including Chats w/ Tory Lanez’s Father, Despite Being Instructed Not To
Update in #MeganTheeStallion’s defamation case against blogger Milagro Cooper.
Court documents obtained by legal affairs journalist Meghann Cuniff show that jurors in the trial will be informed that Milagro (aka #MilagroGramz) “deleted thousands of text messages and removed the WhatsApp app from her phone,” despite receiving a written notice not to. Some of the deleted messages were allegedly between Milagro and Tory Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson.
The document continues, telling jurors, “In reaching your verdict, you should assume and infer that Defendant intended to deprive Plaintiff of the evidence in the deleted messages and chats, that at least some of the deleted messages related to the claims in this case and were about Plaintiff, and that these deleted messages were unfavorable to Defendant.”
As reported, Megan is suing Milagro for defamation, cyberstalking, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The Grammy-winning rapper alleges that Milagro served as a tool for #ToryLanez, who is in prison for shooting Megan, and knowingly led a campaign to spread misinformation.
