Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss was recently asked about her past with Phaedra Parks, and Kandi still has no plans to rekindle their friendship.
“Do you think there’s any way that [Phaedra] could get you to look her way again? Has she ever tried to reach out?” Keke Palmer asked her.
“We’ve been in the same rooms before, but there’s no reason for us to communicate. We just don’t interact. I’m not disrespectful, I don’t come in cussing anybody out or anything,” she replied. “It’s just, you just stay in your lane, and I’ll stay in my lane. I don’t feel the need to fake it for the world in that situation.”
In Season 9, when Phaedra was to be the source behind a damaging allegation that Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, had supposedly conspired to drug and assault Porsha Williams.
Phaedra’s time on the show ended after her confession at the season reunion and Kandi vowed to exit the show if Phaedra were ever invited back.
More recently, Phaedra appeared to walk back on her confession and her apology.
“I mean, what’s wild is, I was punished for something that nobody saw me do. It’s like Telephone. I mean, it is what it is,” she told Jason Lee.
Phaedra also claimed that what Porsha did was “hurtful” and that she was “bothered” by it, but she made her peace with it as she was “not happy” and wanted to walk away from the show anyway.
