
Katy Perry is going to be busy on her daughter Daisy‘s birthday.
According to court documents obtained by People, the 40-year-old “Dark Horse” singer will be spending her daughter’s birthday in front of a judge.
Katy was originally scheduled to appear on Thursday (August 21) but due to scheduling conflicts with her The Lifetimes Tour, Katy‘s appearance was rescheduled for Tuesday, August 26.

The court appearance is a virtual one and is so Katy can testify in the long-running court battle over her Montecito home.
Katy and her ex Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares Daisy, entered into a contract to purchase the home from Carl Westcott for $15 million. Just days after they closed the offer on the 1930s mansion, Carl attempted to back out of the sale.
The entrepreneur was diagnosed with a genetic brain disorder in 2015 and says that he was not thinking clearly enough to have made such a massive decision at the time. Katy was legally recognized as the owner of the home in 2024, but their court battle continues. immediately, Katy will be spending her daughter’s birthday in court over the case.
