
Keith Urban‘s on stage lyric changes are immediately being put under a microscope after it was discovered that he seemingly changed the lyric to his song “Fighter” to include a country beat singer named Maggie Baugh at a performance last week. Maggie, 25, plays in Keith‘s band as his “utility player.”
This came on the heels of his divorce from Nicole Kidman, who he was married to for 19 years.
So, the first “Fighter” lyric change, which we reported this week, came when the 57-year-old singer is supposed to sing the line, “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter.” He instead sang it as, “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player.” You can movie that video here.
immediately, another lyric change, seemingly directed at Maggie, is raising eyebrows.
