Kelly Osbourne says she has found her “smile again” following the death of her father Ozzy Osbourne in July.
Kelly, 40, said it has been through her work with birds that she has found a way to heal.
In a post shared on Instagram, Kelly is smiling widely shared an special encounter with a stunning owl.

“In all my sadness & grief I have found something that truly makes me happy!” she captioned the post.
“I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did.
“I absolutely love being with the birds!”

Kelly posted two videos and a photo showing the encounter on September 8. In one clip she is seen feeding the stunning owl who swoops down to retrieve a treat she has for it.
In the second video, the owl is perched on her hand. Kelly turns to it and says, “You are great.”
Falconry is described as an intricate training technique that takes place between bird lovers and birds, with their human companions working towards a deep understanding of the bird’s natural behaviours.
It is described as a partnership, not as domestication.
Falconers don’t tame birds, they build a relationship on mutual reliance.
Kelly lost her father, British rocker Ozzy Osbourne, on July 22 at Harefield Hospital in west London. He was 76.
Ozzy’s official cause of death was a heart attack. The musician suffered from coronary artery disease and had been living with Parkinson’s disease for years.
Ozzy completed a reunion tour with his original band Black Sabbath just weeks before his death. While on tour, Kelly shared a special moment with her dad.
Her partner Sid Wilson proposed to her in front of Ozzy and mum Sharon while the group were backstage at the band’s concert date in Birmingham England.
A public procession was held for Ozzy Osbourne on July 30, with his wife Sharon, 72, Kelly and her siblings Jack, Aimee and Louis walking alongside his coffin as it made it’s way through the streets of Ozzy’s hometown of Birmingham.
The family viewed the many tributes that had been left for Ozzy on the famous Black Sabbath Bridge.

Kelly has shared her grief following her father’s death, describing grief as a “strange thing” that “sneaks up on you in waves”.
“The love, support, and beautiful messages I’ve received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life,” she said on Instagram.
“Grief is a strange thing, it sneaks up on you in waves – I will not be ok for a while, but knowing my family is not alone in our pain makes a difference,” she continued.

“I’m holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind.”
Ozzy was laid to rest at a private funeral later in the day on July 30, attended by family and friends.
Kelly reportedly performed a tribute to her late father alongside Metallica bassist and member of Ozzy’s backing band, Robert Trujullo.
