Kevin Gates’ estranged wife Dreka Gates asked a judge for $70,000 a month in support from the rapper. Dreka told a judge he cut off her and their children financially.
According to court papers obtained by TMZ, Dreka says in late 2021 Kevin started to “dismantle the financial foundation of their family” and stopped paying for basic family obligations such as property taxes and their children’s private school tuition.
She’s asking the judge for $70,000 a month to maintain the lifestyle she and the children have grown accustomed to.

The high school sweethearts got married in October 2015 and have two children together — Islah, 12, and Khaza, 11. Dreka filed for divorce in July, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Dreka says Kevin flaunts his wealth, including 18 luxury vehicles parked at his $4.7 million estate in Calabasas, CA.
According to the documents, Dreka and the children live on their Mississippi farm, which is in foreclosure after the IRS levied $7 million in unpaid taxes. She’s asking the court for $27,193 per month in child support plus $46,274 in monthly spousal support.
Kevin responded to the court by claiming the two were never legally married.
Kevin claimed he was married to Instagram model Brittany Renner. Brittany converted to Islam and they lived together as man and wife for a few months.

Kevin and Brittany divorced in May and she removed her hijab.
“We got married April 6 and divorced May 28,” she told radio station REAL 92.3 in Los Angeles.
“There is a 90 day waiting period in Islam, where you have 90 days to see if you’re pregnant because then he would be responsible,” Brittany explained.
“But also in those 90 days, it’s for recommendation because the law wants you to stay married. And during those 90 days, you are not to entertain anybody romantically.”
Kevin and Brittany’s marriage was not recognized as legal in a U.S. court.
