KJ Apa is opening up about his body hair and why he didn’t shave for his role in the new Prime Video movie The Map That Leads to You.
The 28-year-old actor, best known for his work on The CW’s Riverdale, bares his butt in a shower scene in the new film.
While appearing on Andy Cohen‘s SiriusXM radio show, the host teased the scene.
“KJ, of course, will not say it, but I’m going to say something that may sell the movie to a lot of you who are wondering whether to go see it,” Andy said. “You can very clearly see KJ’s ass in the movie.”

KJ replied, “It’s hairy, too … I didn’t know that day that I was going to be showing my ass. Had I known, maybe I would’ve shaved it.”
He explained, “Originally [co-star Madelyn Cline] was meant to be naked in the shower, and then something happened that day, and then I said I’ll do it,”
KJ recently opened up about how being a father has saved his life.
