An in-and-out glimpse for her fans into the up-to-date awakening fashion project-from-the-Earth-sponsored collection with Apple Bottoms. The Instagram post-giving the animals a merry go of being illogically displayed on racks-has stirred up great excitement and a whole lot of nostalgia in the hearts of the followers. The caption said, “Literally had soooo much fun curating this collection with @officialapplebottoms 🍎 Here’s some bts! SHOP today 🐆.”

The picture set the whole tone: Latto standing tall in a leopard print outfit amid an edifice of leopard prints. These warm and friendly interiors with wooden furnishing and draped curtains almost breathed the atmosphere of a chic contemporary studio. The comments work as proof that the people are here for it.
With a nostalgic tone, one person sought to continue the joke: “We getting some boots with the fur or nah…” And so the barrage of pertinent comments began, loudly singing their praises to the iconic 2007 banger “Apple Bottom Jeans” by T-Pain and Nelly. Another comment read, “the whole club was looking at herrrrrr 😭🤣🤣😭😭,” which is to say that, even after 16 years, this song still inhabits the vacant recesses of every mind.
But all of the excitement wasn’t for nostalgia. Some were practically making selections on the spot. “The cheetah print jeans are 🔥😍,” one wrote, while another said, “I WANT THEM SKIRTS & SHORTS GIRLLLL.” The spirits were high, though others weren’t so sold-they cried, “Where is the boot cut ?!! I don’t like skinny jeans,” pointing out that, even in fashion, you can’t please everyone.
It’s interesting how some think of this collab as a complete full circle. Referring to the rapper’s influence on the brand, one remarked, “Nelly picked the perfect mami for this, she already be wearing this style. He knew what to do.” Another echoed, “The world 🌎 is in Latto’s hands,” which… honestly, it’s not a bad statement.
Of course, the hype increases impatience. Another comment cried, “Yall need to restock 😭 while is XL the only thing left,” and another pleaded, “Can you pls send my order, I need it this weekend 🥲.” special drops are, indeed, quite a struggle.
There were also some random off-topic comments for laughs, such as this gem: “The doctor told me to eat an apple a day.”

The Latto Apple Bottoms collection seems to be gunning for all-the-nostalgia, bold fashion, and Southern hip-hop vibes. I dunno if you’re here for the nostalgia or cheetah print addiction, but it’s a fact: Big Mama is still on everybody’s lips. If only those boots-with-fur would go ahead and appear in the next drop…
