Prior to being released on bond on Monday, Lil Nas X pleaded not guilty to a total of four felony charges: three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer. The judge is also requiring that Lil Nas X attends Narcotics Anonymous meetings four times per week.
According to Robert, his son is dedicated to improving himself and putting in the necessary work to get better amid these legal issues.
“He’s going to get the help that he needs and just keep him in your prayers. Give him the same grace and mercy that God gives everyone,” Robert said, adding that Lil Nas X feels “very remorseful” for what happened.
He went on to share that his son is handling his release from jail well. Robert said, “He’s doing great mentally. We shed tears, we shed laughter, but he’s in great spirits.”
