Lily Allen was evasive as she spoke about whether she was dating anyone as she released an album in which she seems to have accused ex-husband David Harbour of cheating on her.
The singer, 40, was asked by Interview whether she was seeing anyone, to which she laughed before saying, “Maybe.”
The Smile songstress seemed to be in the same boat as the rest of us as she spoke about navigating dating apps.

She told the outlet, ”They’re awful, especially if you’re going through heartbreak.
“There is nothing more depressing than hundreds of people that are nothing like the person that you’re missing. It’s just like, ‘No, that’s not him. That’s not him. That’s not him’.”
The singer even got herself banned from Hinge for ”impersonating herself”.

“I’m like, ‘I can prove that I’m that person.’ They’re like, ‘You’ll need to send us your ID.’ And I’m like, ‘Actually my name and the name on my ID aren’t the same’.”
Allen also confirmed she’s on the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya.
The singer’s up-to-date album, West End mami, seems to allude to the breakdown of her 2020 marriage to Stranger Things star David Harbour, including allegations of cheating on his part.
It includes themes of infidelity, breaking the agreements of an open marriage and even calls out a woman named ‘Madeline’, who Allen describes as “the other woman”.
The woman believed to be the inspiration behind the song Madeline, and who had an alleged affair with Harbour, has come forward, bringing fresh scrutiny to the links between Allen’s new album and key moments of the fallout of her marriage to the American actor.
Around the time Allen was taking to the stage as a West End mami, Harbour was filming the Netflix movie We Have A Ghost in New Orleans.
That is reportedly where he met the woman Allen appears to reference in her album as ‘Madeline’.
In Madeline, which tells the story of a woman talking to someone her partner slept with, Allen sings: “I know none of this is your fault, messaging you feels kind of assaultive/ Saw your text, that’s how I found out, tell me the truth and his motives.”
“How long has it been going on? Is it just sex or is there emotion?/ He told me it would stay in hotel rooms, never be out in the open/ Why would I trust anything that comes out of his mouth?,” the lyrics continue.

Allen touches on the same themes in Tennis, in which she asks, “Who the f–k is Madeline?”
Costume designer Natalie Tippett, 34, who alleges she had an affair with Harbour, spoke to the Daily Mail in the wake of the album’s launch, claiming to be the inspiration.
Speaking of the new beat, Tippett said that “of course” she had heard it.
“But I have a family and things to protect. I have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, and I understand this is going on,” she said, adding, “It’s a little bit scary for me”.
When asked by the Daily Mail if she knew her private text messages were being used in the lyrics of Allen’s songs, Tippett replied, “Yeah”, adding that she didn’t feel “comfortable talking about it at the moment”.
The affair Tippett alleges took place appears to have parallels with Allen’s album, but the singer has been adamant the album is only partly based in truth.
Allen was previously married to ex-husband Sam Cooper, with whom she welcomed Ethel Mary Cooper, 13 and Marnie Rose Cooper, 12 before they divorced in 2018.
