Two charges of terrorism for Luigi’s alleged murder of the United Healthcare CEO were dropped as the judge declared: “The [terrorism] statute cannot be interpreted so broadly so as to cover individuals or groups who are not normally viewed as ‘terrorists.'”

He still faces various federal and state charges for murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Crowds outside the courthouse chanted, “Free Luigi!”
