Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai serial twist, August 17, 2025: In the upcoming episodes, we will see Abhira announcing her wedding with Anshuman. Read on to know what happens next.
Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been in the news. In the recent episodes of the show, we saw that even after losing the dance competition against Abhira, Geetanjali tries to manipulate Maira. She makes Maira feel guilty and choose her over Abhira. On the competition day, Geetanjali asks Maira to lock Abhira in her room and reach the venue to dance with her. Maira does it as she does not want to hurt Geetanjali. However, Abhira gets worried and feels Maira might be in danger. Hence, she jumps of the window but gets badly injured. Maira gets shocked and Armaan takes Abhira to the hospital.
Maira and Abhira’s reunion
Maira tells Armaan that Geetanjali had asked her to lock Abhira. Armaan makes Maira understand that she was wrong and how Abhira fought for her always. Abhira wakes up and asks Armaan to take Maira to the dance venue. Armaan dances with Maira while Geetanjali stands shocked. But the judges ask him to stop as the participant can only dance with her mother.
Geetanjali is about to step in but Abhira reaches on time. They dance but the light falls on the stage. Abhira saves Maira and Armaan. Maira calls her ‘mumma’ leaving everyone emotional. However, Geetanjali breaks down. Abhira and Maira win the competition and we see Armaan hugging Maira and Abhira.
But, Anshuman comes there and Abhira moves away. Abhira asks Maira to speak to Geetanjali. But she moves away in anger while Armaan, Daadu and Maira are shocked. Abhira then tells Dadisa and Vidya about her decision to marry Anshuman. Later, Armaan drops Maira to the Goenka house when he thinks if he and Abhira can reunite forever.
Maira wants Abhira to remarry Armaan
But hears Abhira announcing that she and Anshuman will get married in the next two days. In the upcoming episodes of Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we will see Geetanjali will leave the Poddar house in anger and ask Armaan to never show his face. Armaan will ask Daadu to take care of her and will say that he will come there in a few days.
The Poddars will get shocked knowing Abhira is marrying Anshuman. Maira will show Abhira her and Armaan’s wedding picture and ask her to marry Armaan again. Later, during Janmashtami, Anshuman will come to take Abhira and Maira to the Poddar house for celebrations. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
However, Abhira will not go and Maira will tell Anshuman that she will stay with Abhira as Armaan has asked her to keep Abhira happy always. Will Anshuman realise what Maira wants? Will Geetanjali be back?
