
People inside the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport said the facility was put on lockdown early Thursday morning because of a threat.”I came on a flight from Chicago, and they wouldn’t let any of us leave,” said traveler Jamie-Lynn Hazzard.The situation started to unfold around 12:30 a.m. The airport confirmed to News 9 at about 1:30 a.m. that the situation was over. Hazzard said there were several police cruisers outside the terminal. She and another man who was there to pick someone up said they were told by security officers that the situation involved a threat.”They were blocking us in and they said we couldn’t leave, and they said there was an incident with explosives in the parking garage,” Hazzard told News 9.”One of the private officers came over and talked to us and told us that someone had called in a bomb threat, that there was a car in the garage with an explosive device in it and until the police got clear every vehicle on every floor of the garage no one would be allowed to leave,” said Ryan Waldron.News 9 has reached to the Londonderry Police Department and the airport for more information.
