
EXCLUSIVE: Vertical has acquired North American and UK/Ireland rights to All That We Love, the comedy starring Margaret Cho (Dying for Sex) and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family).
Directed by Yen Tan from his screenplay co-written with Clay Liford, the film also stars Kenneth Choi (The Wolf of Wall Street), Alice Lee (Suits LA), Atsuko Okatsuka (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), Missi Pyle (The Sex Lives of College Girls), and Devon Bostick (Oppenheimer). The film is slated for release on November 7, 2025.
The synopsis reads: “Emma (Margaret Cho) is faced with an empty nest and compelled to forge deeper connections with those closest to her, including her best friend Stan (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and her free-spirited daughter Maggie (Alice Lee). Complicating matters, her estranged ex-husband Andy (Kenneth Choi) returns from Singapore – professionally adrift and determined to rekindle their lost love.”
Producers are Jonathan Duffy and Kelly Williams of Ten Acres Films, Rebecca Green, and Tim Headington and Theresa Steele Page of Ley Line Entertainment. The film had its world premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival.
The discount was negotiated by Piantedosi and Manager of Acquisitions and Sales Rachel White on behalf of Vertical and by CAA Media Finance on behalf of the filmmakers.
Executive producers include Nate Kamiya, David Darby, and Tyler Boehm and Chris Quintos Cathcart of Unapologetic Projects.
