State police said they responded to reports of a person seen floating in the ocean near the Isles of Shoals on July 13. Officials identified the man as 35-year-old David Paul Stover Shader, who was last seen in the Boston area.

State police are investigating the details surrounding Shader’s death, but they said it is not believed to be suspicious. Investigators said that there is no concern for public safety related to the incident at this time.
