There was something about Marisol Nichols and that pink dress that demanded tribute on Instagram for the striking snapshot she gave the world from her whirlwind weekend in Las Vegas at the Optix Film Festival. The actress, also seen on shows like ‘Riverdale’ and ’24,’ must be ecstatic to say she had two of her films screened, hosted a Women in Film discussion, and crashed a event for the documentary ‘Waltz With Brando.’ But really: Did any of that matter when we had the pink dress to gawk at?

Only one photo of Nichols booming bright pink had gone public. A strappy number all about the glamour, this one was the defining shot: Upward gaze exclaims, “I just had the best weekend ever,” which she definitely did, looking at the caption. A weekend so filled it included the ‘Spiral’ reunion with director Darren Bousman and writer Josh Stolberg and ‘Vegas Vacation’ hits that it probably felt like an entire month’s-worth packed in there!
All over the world, fans flooded the comments with endless loving remarks about the look. One person said the dress was an “absolute jaw dropper.” Another joked that she was “bringing a whole new meaning to HOT pink.” In contrast, another admirer declared her to be the “most beautiful woman in the world,” which, honestly, given the golden aura of the woman in that photo, sounds pretty much accurate.
That was just one dimension of the conversation along with glamor. Another fan could not get enough and called to revive “Resurrection Blvd.,” an early 2000s cult favorite show. The plea netted some signatures, which means that all the pink dress praise notwithstanding, the acting legacy definitely still holds sway.
Not all were too deep, of course. Most, just there for the vibes, including the one that said, “So pretty I’m coming over,” as if she were just standing there, waiting for their RSVP. Then, we had randoms asking, “May I please get a follow?” Bold move.
Nichols didn’t only attend the festival; she practically owned it. After those screenings, those panels, and that dress, she went ahead and made Las Vegas her runway. But judging by the comments, it looks like the fans are gearing up for her next power move-share or at least something worthy of an outfit.

One thing’s for sure: Marisol Nichols really knows how to keep the spotlight where it belongs-on her-whether it be filmmaking or looks. And honestly, we are all for it.
