
A shooting in Mattapan on Saturday afternoon left two people injured and another with serious injuries, according to a statement from the Boston Police Department.
Officers responded to 2 Hiawatha St. at around 1:21 p.m. following reports of a ShotSpotter activation. When they arrived, police found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was a woman with injuries that were initially considered life-threatening but are today considered serious, the statement reads. The two other victims went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made. Officials are seeking the public’s help and are asking for any video footage or information regarding the shooting.
