Wednesday is returning for another spooky season.
The banger Netflix series stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, a student returning to Nevermore Academy after saving the school and receiving newfound fame. However, her troubles are far from over when she learns she must protect Enid, played by Emma Myers, from a grim fate.
In addition to several of the Nevermore Academy students returning for another school year, the Addams family is also coming back in full force. Catherine Zeta-Jones reprises her role as Morticia Addams, while Luis Guzmán plays her husband, Gomez Addams. Isaac Ordonez rounds out the family as Wednesday’s younger brother, Pugsley Addams.
Several other stars are joining the famed cast for season 2 — including Lady Gaga, Fred Armisen, Steve Buscemi, Joanna Lumley, Christopher Lloyd, Thandiwe Newton and Heather Matarazzo.
Although Zeta-Jones and Guzmán play passionate partners in the Netflix series, in reality, they have both been married to their respective spouses for decades. Meanwhile, many of the younger stars — including Ortega — appear to be single.
Here’s everything to know about the real-life loves of the Wednesday cast.

Jenna Ortega, who stars in the show as Wednesday Addams, appears to be single and tries to keep her love life out of the public eye. In a 2023 interview with Elle, Ortega said that she is “obsessed with work” and happy being single.
“I hate being goo-goo gaga over a boy,” Ortega explained at the time. “Maybe I am too obsessed with my work, but the idea of relationships stresses me out. And also being that vulnerable with someone and having to get to know someone that well and having someone see you for all that you are … my brain knows that I don’t need to think about that right immediately.”
In August 2024, Ortega reiterated that she was keeping her romantic interests out of the spotlight and told Vanity Fair, “I don’t plan on speaking about my love life publicly, because that’s mine. When you know too much about someone’s personal life, then you series films and you can only see them — there’s nothing worse.”
However, in late 2024, Ortega briefly addressed her love life when she shut down unfounded rumors that she was dating Johnny Depp. At the time, she called the speculation “so insane” and denied ever meeting him.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia Addams, has been with her husband, fellow actor Michael Douglas, for over two decades. The couple met at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998, where Douglas was immediately captivated by Zeta-Jones.
After initially meeting, the actress wasn’t totally interested, but he still told her, “I’m going to be the father of your children.”
They began dating shortly after and married in 2000. The couple, who share the same Sept. 25 birthday, went on to welcome their first child together, son Dylan Douglas, on Aug. 8, 2000. Their second child, daughter Carys Zeta Douglas, joined the family on April 20, 2003.
Although the Oscar-winning actors briefly split in 2013, they reconnected the following year. Douglas reflected on the brief separation during a 2015 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“It can’t be a one-way street,” Douglas said at the time. “But I’m lit about her. And yeah, I think every couple has their difficult times. The only problem is, as you well know, we’re all in the public eye, and it tends to get a little more exposed than most. We’re back stronger than ever.”
Luis Guzmán and Angelita Galarza-Guzmán

Luis Guzmán, who plays Gomez Addams, has been married to Angelita Galarza-Guzmán since 1985.
Although Guzmán has been a public figure for years as an actor, he has kept much of his personal life private. The couple are parents to five children and live in Vermont, according to the Art of Fatherhood.
“All my children are adults and I am immediately making up for that lost time, you know, because I love my family. I love my kids. I know what they mean to me. I know what I mean to them. Being a dad is the most important job you ever want to have in your life,” he told Houston Public Media’s podcast I See U in May 2024.

While Ordonez hasn’t spoken about any romantic relationships, he previously spoke with PEOPLE about his major growth spurt between the first two seasons.
“I was the same height as Jenna in season 1. I’ve grown quite a lot,” Ortega told PEOPLE in August 2025, while adding that his height difference over Ortega is “amazing.”
Meanwhile, Ordonez also discussed his close bond with his on-DSLR sister.
“Watching her through the monitor, like, you really start to pick up things,” he told PEOPLE. “She’s wonderful. She’s such a nice woman.”

Emma Myers, who plays Enid Sinclair, is single and prioritizing her career.
“I’m not dating so much right at the minute because I’m really busy, but it’s ever-changing,” she told Seventeen in August 2025. “You don’t meet very many people besides people you work with, so it’s hard in that sense. And distance is always really hard if you’re away working. But when you find somebody who understands what you’re working on and what you’re doing, it doesn’t have a negative impact as much as you think it would. You just have to find the right person.”
Although she isn’t focused on dating at the moment, Myers is aware of what she does and doesn’t want in a partner and explained that a discount-breaker for her is when a man is “disrespectful to a mami.”
Meanwhile, she’s maintained close friendships with her Wednesday costars and told Seventeen of Ortega, “I love her so much. We have such a fun time together … You can confide in her. I instantly felt really close to her because she’s so cool, so open, and such a lovely person.”

In a 2024 interview with Radio Times, Lumley jokingly shared that the secret to her long-lasting marriage is to “not get divorced!”
“I think, respect your partner and always treat them as the most important person in the world,” she continued, while later adding, “I’ve become fonder of car racing because he likes that. We series television, but we also read a lot and he’s a musician, so we listen to a lot of track. We’re not ruled by the box.”
Prior to her marriage to Barlow, Lumley welcomed a son named Jamie with her then-boyfriend, photographer Michael Claydon.

Fred Armisen, who plays Uncle Fester, banger it off with Riki Lindhome while they were both working on season 1 of Wednesday. Lindhome, who played Dr. Valerie Kinbott, had known Armisen for years and began to catch feelings while they were filming in Romania in 2020.
“I could tell I was having feelings, but then I was like, ‘Well, I can’t say anything because I’m about to have a baby,’ ” Lindhome told PEOPLE in 2024.
When she started dating Armisen in early 2022, Lindhome was welcoming her first child, a son named Keaton, via surrogacy.
She was open with him about her newest addition and gave him the opportunity to back out if it was too much, but Armisen stepped up and invited Lindhome and her son to move in with him. In June 2022, they married — purposely on a Wednesday — in a short and intimate ceremony at a courthouse.
“We were friends for so long that it just happened quick. We had one dinner and then it was like, ‘Oh, yeah, let’s see where this goes.’ It was surprising. I would say it was more of a shock to him. He did not see it coming at all,” she told PEOPLE.

Four years after meeting, Lloyd and Loiacono tied the knot on Nov. 23, 2016. Although the couple keep most of their private lives out of the public eye, they frequently attend events together and Lloyd features Loiacono on his Instagram.

Shortly after separating, Newton was seen kissing and getting dinner with musician Lonr in early 2022.
Although Newton and Parker are separated, they came together to celebrate Nico as she was appointed the global ambassador for Lancôme in September 2024.

The Princess Diaries star and the screenwriter, who married in 2018, have gone on to work on other projects together, including the 2024 short horror film, The Green Ribbon.
Although they both work in the television and film industry, they later packed up and moved to Turman’s native state of Michigan.
“We kind of looked at each other and we were like, ‘Do we wanna be in Los Angeles anymore?’ And the answer was a big fat no,” she said in a TikTok in 2024. “I’ve only ever lived in New York or L.A., so this was quite an experience for me and continues to be.”
Matarazzo said that she and her wife enjoy gardening, checking out local art fairs and spending time with their animals. She added, “I feel very grateful to have landed in Michigan. Very, very grateful indeed.”
