Freshman goalkeeper Andrej Borak highlighted the night as he carded his fourth clean sheet of the season with seven saves in the net, playing a pivotal role in the first scoreless match for the Blue Devils.
Four of Borak’s saves came in the first half, including a stop during a penalty kick that kept the game tied in the 32nd minute. The defense kept Duke at bay to keep the score at 0-0 heading into the break.
Borak’s three stops in the second stanza came over the final 31 minutes of the contest to keep the match tied. Offensively, the Eagles attempted five shots, with four coming down the stretch.
Ask Ekeland led the offense with a pair of shot attempts, while Ziad Abdul-Malak, Bryan Toro, and Henry Wassarman tallied a shot.
