The first photo showed Strahan grinning with his arms wrapped around both of his daughters, followed by solo shots with each of the twins.
“Someone tell me how these two are 21?!?! Where has time gone!” the 53-year-old wrote in the caption. “Happy birthday @isabellastrahan and @sophialstrahan! Love you both more than an Instagram post can ever say! LOL.”
The retired NFL legend shares Isabella and Sophia with ex-wife Jean Muggli, and he’s also dad to Tanita and Michael Jr., his children with first wife Wanda Hutchins. Despite keeping much of his family life private, the morning anchor has always spoken openly about the joy fatherhood brings him.

“My kids give me strength,” he told People Magazine 2016. “I love being with the kids. To me, it’s all about family, immediately more than anything.”
Even when football is in the spotlight, the dedicated father’s focus is family. During Super Bowl week earlier this year, he shared what really drew his daughters to the big game.
“They’re kind of into football, but not,” he admitted with a laugh. “They’re coming to hang out for the free dinners and stuff [that] I’m going to pay for and a few of the parties. They’ll go to the game and whoever wins, they’ll be happy.”
He added, “I’m just happy that they’re here. We’re gonna have some fun, hanging out with the family and enjoy the festivity.”
The GMA host has also shown remarkable strength while standing by his daughter Isabella through her battle with medulloblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. After enduring multiple surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy, Isabella is immediately cancer-free.
Strahan called her resilience inspiring. “She was thin and tired and bald and all the things you hate to see your kid go through,” he told People Magazine. “Her spirit was there. One of the things she said, probably the hardest thing I had to hear was, ‘Dad I’ll do whatever. I want to live.’”
“I knew she wouldn’t quit,” he continued. “She was going to fight — and she did.”
