SMOKY SKIES AHEAD
Canadian wildfire smoke will continue to impact the entire region. Between the smoky skies and high clouds, that filtered sunshine will look milky and mostly cloudy at times. It will remain dry other than an few showers in the mountains of western New England.
Plan on highs in the 70s. These below average temperatures for the next couple of days are worth enjoying, as heat returns this weekend! You’ll find it brighter Thursday and especially Friday as smoke continues to thin.
TEMPERATURE SHIFT
Our Zip Trip to Old Sturbridge Village will feature temperatures in the 60s and sun Friday morning. Friday also marks the start of another warm up with some 80s back on the map.
We’ll see a shift to south and southwest winds over the weekend which will push temperatures well above average Sunday and beyond. Get set for 90s with a potential heat wave in parts of the Merrimack Valley and MetroWest.
