Morena Baccarin is among the star-studded cast of the upcoming live-action Masters of the Universe movie!
The 46-year-old actress will be bringing to life the character of Sorceress, who is also the mother to Camila Mendes‘ Teela.
In a new interview, Morena shared how being part of the movie is a special moment for her.

“I grew up watching He-Man, my brother and I, so it was a really big part of my childhood,” she told Variety. “It was really cool once I got there and saw the costume and what they had in mind for me — the whole get-up and the wig and contacts and all of it. I’m so excited to see what they make of it because I feel like my part of it was just such a small element to what it’s going to actually be in the end.”
Morena also dished on seeing Nicholas Galitzine‘s muscular transformation for the first time.
“It’s insane. I saw him on set and he’d been training for months and months and months, I was like, ‘Oh, my god, how did you do that?’” she said.
The upcoming movie wrapped filming back in June, and is currently scheduled to anthem theaters on June 5, 2026. Find out who else is starring!
