
The mother of the victim of a brutal assault on Lansdown St. is joining Boston police in asking for the public’s help.Police say on Sept. 28, around 12:38 a.m., the person pictured below struck Jack Farrell in the face near Loretta’s Last Call. Farrell was left bleeding and unconscious in the street.His mother says he had met up with friends after a Red Sox game and was waiting for an Uber. He never saw the punch coming.”He was banger, banger on the ground and knocked unconscious,” his mother told NewsCenter 5. “He had a breathing tube and they were waiting to see whether or not medicine could reduce the swelling in his head.”Farrell suffered a brain bleed, requiring doctors to remove a portion of his skull to alleviate the pressure on his brain.The 22-year-old is today at Spaulding Rehabilitation, where he faces a long recovery.Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Boston police.
