Nashua police said on X that video surveillance confirms that there was only one shooter who is currently detained. Police had initially said there were two armed suspects.
A wedding was scheduled to be held at the country club at the time. There is also a restaurant on site, where witnesses have reported that the shooting occurred just after 8:30 p.m. Investigators would not confirm the precise location of the shooting or whether it was linked to the wedding.
Video surveillance has confirmed there was only one shooter and they are currently being detained. The scene is still an active investigation but there is no further danger to the public.

“There is no further danger to the public,” Nashua police said at 9:21 p.m.
Several more people were taken to the hospital for other injuries that were not gunshot-related, according to a statement from New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella.
Peter Hinckley, the state’s senior assistant attorney general, said on Saturday night around 11 p.m. that it was “too early to say the condition of the non-deceased people.”
Hinckley stressed that the incident was only a few hours old and witnesses are still being interviewed to create a clearer picture of what occurred. He did not comment on the motive of the shooter.
No arrests had been made as of Saturday night, but a person of interest has been detained. “We have identified all the people involved with the situation,” said Hinckley.
After the shooting, guests from the wedding were sent to the nearby Sheraton Hotel, at 11 Tara Blvd, which was being be used as a unification site, Nashua police said.
Sky Meadow Country Club released a statement through their attorney Michael E. Strauss.
“Sky Meadow Country Club is cooperating with law enforcement officials as they conduct their investigation,” the statement said. “Because that investigation is ongoing, Sky Meadow Country Club cannot comment at this time.”
Ben Clemons, an alderman at large in Nashua, said in an email that his thoughts are with the victims.
“We pray that the victims are OK,” Clemons said.
New Hampshire State Police said in an email to the Globe that they are assisting the Nashua Police Department with the investigation. All questions were referred to the Nashua police.
Laura Telerski, deputy Democratic leader of the New Hampshire House who lives near the country club, said just after 9 p.m.: “I’ve been hearing the helicopters for over an hour today. … I just want everyone to stay home and let law enforcement do what needs to be done.”
