Nicholas Alexander Chavez is breaking his silence after he was cut from I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Before the new movie anthem theaters last month, director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson revealed that an opening scene that featured the 25-year-old Emmy-winning actor and Lola Tung had been cut from the final version of the movie.
While stepping out for Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood rave on Thursday (August 7), Nicholas shared his thoughts on being cut from the movie and addressed the possibility of returning for a possible sequel.

Despite not making it in the final version, Nicholas said that he had a great time working on the movie.
“All I could think about was my time that I spent in Australia, which was hanging out with kangaroos, going on hot air balloon adventures over the plains at sunrise, going cherry picking with my girlfriend [Victoria Abbott],” Nicholas recalled. “That’s actually all I remember when I think about that movie.”
As for who was supposed to play in the movie, Nicholas stayed mum, saying, “That’s left to other people!”
He also said that he would return for a potential future sequel.
“You know, ask me tomorrow, I’ll have a million different answers for you,” Nicholas said. “The only thing that matters at this point in my career is just doing good material with people who I love and people who I believe in and who believe in me.”
In a new interview, one of the stars of I Know What You Did Last Summer revealed some last-minute changes that were made to the new movie.
