
Legendary actress Patricia Crowley has died. She was 91.
The Dynasty star died of natural causes on Sunday in Los Angeles, and is survived by her husband Andy Friendly.
Her son, Jon Hookstratten, who is executive VP administration and operations at Sony Pictures Entertainment, announced the news.

Crowley made her debut into the movie world in the comedy Forever Female in 1953, playing a young actress who wants the role of an ingenue in a Broadway drama that a veteran actress (Ginger Rogers) wants the playwright (William Holden) to retool for her.
She made appearances in several other movies in the years to follow.

But Crowley was perhaps best known for her role playing Joan Nash on the ’60s comedy Please Don’t Eat The Daisies, which ran for two seasons.
Her character was a newspaper writer and a mother of four rowdy boys and they lived in a home that looked like a castle and they even had a giant sheepdog for a pet.

She went on to land a role in Dynasty, playing Emily Fallmont for 10 episodes of the iconic soap.
Her appearances on television were plenty, with stints on The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Griff, The Twilight Zone, The Fugitive, 77 Sunset Strip, The Rockford Files, Friends, The Love Boat, Beverly Hills, 90210, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and dozens of other shows.

Not only did she act, but she also sang and danced on The Dean Martin Show, too.
Her last on-screen appearance came in the film Mont Reve in 2021.
In addition to her husband and son, she is also survived by her daughter, Ann; son-in-law Robert; daughter-in-law Marion; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
