Pawan Kalyan’s film They Call Him OG has shattered box office records, collecting a whopping amount worldwide in just three days.
The Telugu action film They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan was released in theaters on September 25, 2025, and received a tremendous response from the very first day. Pawan Kalyan returns to his gangster role after a long time. The film is directed by Sujeeth, himself a big fan of Pawan. Notably, Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi also marks his Telugu cinema debut with this film. They Call Him OG has grossed approximately Rs 63.75 crore on its first day of release. On the second day, it collected Rs 19.25 crore. In just two days, the film’s net earnings in India reached Rs 84.75 crore, with Rs 21 crore already earned before the premiere. This means the film’s worldwide collection surpassed Rs 104 crore in three days.

Pawan Kalyan’s action film saw a slowdown at the box office on the third day. After a strong opening day, the film’s earnings declined on Saturday. According to reports from Sacnilk, the film earned approximately Rs 18.50 crore on its third day, across all languages. This brings the total domestic collection for the three-days to Rs 122 crore. However, the upcoming release of Rishab Shetty’s highly anticipated film Kantara: Chapter 1could also directly impact OG’s earnings.
The Telugu version is contributing the lion’s share of the film’s earnings. On Saturday, the film averaged 42.08% occupancy in the Telugu belt, with evening shows recording the best occupancy at 48.20%. Meanwhile, in Tamil Nadu, the film received only 15.57% occupancy. Interest from Hindi audiences was even lower, with occupancy at just 8.07%.
