Pete Davidson’s girlfriend Elsie Hewitt found the sweetest way to honor the Saturday Night Live alum on his birthday.
“Happy Birthday to my personal toe cracker who gets unnaturally excited about VHS / old TVs & loves to twirl my hair & is my best friend in the whole wide world. we ♥️ you Pete,” Hewitt, 29, captioned a video montage shared via Instagram on Sunday, November 16.
The video featured a slew of clips featuring Davidson, 32, and Hewitt, who have been dating for nearly two years. Many of the clips show the comedian twirling his girlfriend’s hair, feeding her food, geeking out over an old VHS tape that miraculously works and rubbing her feet while cracking her toes.
Davidson and Hewitt are currently expecting their first child together. Hewitt shared the news via Instagram in July 2025, months after Us Weekly confirmed the pair’s relationship in March. “Welp immediately everyone knows we had sex,” she captioned a series of photos shared via Instagram, featuring her baby bump and an ultrasound.
“Well, I honestly couldn’t be more excited,” Davidson told Entertainment Weekly in July of the news he’s going to be a dad. “As you know, it’s been my dream forever since I was a little kid.”
He continued, “The baby’s mother is one of my favorite people to ever exist ever. She’s going to be a great mom and I’m just stoked.”
Hewitt has been just as quick to gush over her boyfriend, telling People while walking the red carpet at the Blossom Ball in New York City in May that Davidson is “so incredible.”
“Honestly, [he’s the] best person I’ve ever met, and I’m so grateful that he’s here tonight,” she continued at the time. “It was just really important to both of us to come here and support the [Endometriosis Foundation of America] and keep helping, spreading the word and educating people.”
Despite the pair’s excitement, Hewitt recently admitted that her pregnancy has not been all fun and games. In a video shared via her Instagram Stories on Friday, November 14, Hewitt said that she’s “been in pain since the very beginning [of her pregnancy] and it’s just getting worse and worse.”

“I’m in absolute agony pretty much 24/7. This morning, it’s really bad,” Hewitt said. She added that she believes her struggle with endometriosis — a reproductive condition where tissue grows outside of the uterus — is “heavily linked” to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. The Mayo Clinic defines the condition as an inherited group of 13 recognized connective tissue disorders that can affect the joints, skin and blood vessels and can carry significant risks with pregnancy.
“At this point, if you can think of something that there is to do about the pain, I have tried it,” she also said. “I have tried everything, and it’s only getting worse and I cannot walk.”
Hewitt added, “I am just straight-up suffering and in so much pain every single day. I actually really don’t know how it could get worse than this.”
Still, despite the lows of her pregnancy and apparent condition, an insider recently revealed to Us in October that the pair are expecting a “winter baby” and are “so excited for this next chapter.”
“They’ve been living together and getting everything ready for the baby, and it’s brought them so much closer,” the source said, adding that the couple is in “full prep mode” and have been “setting up the nursery, taking classes together and doing all the little things to get ready.”
“Pete’s been very hands-on and honestly couldn’t be more excited to be a dad,” the insider also said. “Ever since he lost his dad, he has always dreamed of having his own family. This is his dream and it came at a perfect time in his life. He’s totally embraced the whole thing and just lights up talking about their baby on the way.”
The source continued, “It has been an exciting time for them and they are doing really well as a couple. They have talked about getting engaged but are not rushing it. It’s not their priority right immediately and they are committed to being loving parents together. Pete has been there for Elsie every step of the way and is very supportive and loving making sure she is taken care of.”
