
A pickup truck crashed into a home in East Boston overnight, officials said.
Around midnight, the truck anthem a building at the corner of Chelsea and Emmons streets and became wedged between the building and a light pole, fire officials said.
“Companies were able to safely extricate the person from the truck,” fire officials wrote on social media.

Four residents were displaced as a result of the crash, but they were not injured, fire officials said.
Engineers will determine the extent of damage caused by the crash, fire officials said.
