Porsha Williams just secured another major win in her ongoing legal saga with ex-husband Simon Guobadia.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star celebrated online Tuesday with a bold message: “It’s over.” She also posted a video boarding a private jet captioned, “Free.”
Us Weekly confirmed the Georgia Court of Appeals denied Guobadia’s attempt to overturn their divorce ruling. The court order came just before the exes exchanged barbed posts online. Guobadia responded to Porsha’s announcement, writing, “Here we go again with Mrs 265. Still has learned absolutely nothing. #itsovermyass”
The judge upheld their prenuptial agreement, rejecting Guobadia’s claims that Williams misled him about returning to reality TV.
“The Court finds that [Williams] has been a reality TV celebrity for years, which was well known to Husband at the time of negotiating the Prenuptial Agreement.”
The ruling grants Williams $40,000 a month in support for 14 months, half the equity in their $7 million home, a 2021 Rolls-Royce, and other luxury vehicles. Guobadia must also cover $224,000 in her legal fees.
Guobadia told the court his business benefit dropped from $296 million to zero due to his ICE detention. The judge said that “almost $297 million in business benefit vanished entirely over the course of a few months, without recourse or recovery, strains credibility.”
Williams filed for divorce in February 2024 after 15 months of marriage, citing his immigration issues. Guobadia has since been deported and is also suing Porsha for defamation, which she denies.
