It is an embroidered dress with peacock motifs, slightly puffed sleeves and feathers. Beatrice’s daughter-in-law and Amalia’s mother, Máxima, also recycled this design for a concert in 2014 and modified the silhouette, slightly shortening the skirt.

Máxima wore it then with the same silver belt that Queen Beatrix wore, while Princess Amalia has replaced it with a thinner black belt, matching her Aquazzura shoes and handbag. To protect herself from the cold, Amalia opted for a classic Max Mara coat, completing her look with black XL teardrop-shaped earrings and a sleek updo hairstyle.
