He made headlines after he met with a fatal road accident in Himachal Pradesh. The popular singer was injured on September 27 near Baddi (in Himachal Pradesh). He suffered injuries on his head, spine and had to be put on life support.

Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda’s health condition remained critical and didn’t show much improvement even though he was put under intensive care for over 10 days. The singer was hospitalised on September 27, 2025, and the medical staff at Fortis Hospital Mohali had been taking care of him.

Punjab’s Legislative Assembly member, Pratap Singh Bajwa, also verified the information on social media. He wrote, “Heartbreaking to hear about the untimely passing of Rajvir Jawanda. Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also visited the hospital to meet Rajvir’s family and doctors. Speaking to the media, he said that Rajvir’s condition has slightly improved since Saturday, but he is still unconscious and recovering from serious head injuries. Doctors are consulting with experts to ensure the best treatment. “Recovery from such injuries is slow, but we are hopeful,” the CM said.
