Early rain fell across the Northeast and some stubborn clouds or showers eventually move off the Cape & Islands by afternoon.
By late afternoon Saturday, the sky clears from west to east, rain heads offshore and the sun peeks through. Temps stay in the 50s to low 60s until the evening.
Overnight, we fall to the 30s north, 40s for and this drier air means it’s about cold enough to get some of the snow guns making snow again in the ski resorts.
Sunday brings us another mild day, with highs in the 50s in southern New England. A cold front approaches, and this brings in another wave of rain for late afternoon into the evening. The mountains flip to snowfall and we pick up a few inches of snow up there through Sunday and Monday.

The cold takes its grip for everyone as we drop to the teens and 20s on Tuesday morning. Veterans Day will be blustery, with highs around 40 and feels like temps around 30. Some flurries are possible in the Worcester Hills for Tuesday.
Another clip of precipitation moves by northern New England for Wednesday into Thursday, and this brings reinforced cold air and light snow showers in high elevations.
