Rebel Wilson is living her rockstar dreams!
The 45-year-old actress surprised fans at Reading Festival when she appeared on stage with The Kooks on Friday (August 22) in Reading, England.
At the festival, Rebel‘s appearance was announced by The Kooks’ frontman Luke Pritchard who said, “We’d like to film a scene of a movie with you… so we’d like to welcome to the stage the incredible, the unbelievable, the hugely successful, famous, beautiful popstar, Tazi Young… otherwise known as Rebel Wilson!”
Rebel said the appearance was planned only hours in advance. Since she was too nervous to sing one of The Kooks’ own songs, she decided to cover a 90s hip-hop banger instead.
“What’s up Reading? I thought I should sing a classic Kooks song… ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’!” Rebel told the crowd before she performed the Coolio classic for the crowd. She also shared a video of herself performing and spraying the crowd with champagne to her Instagram.
