Lisa Barlow is clapping back at Heather Gay, who accused her of leaking information about Bronwyn Newport‘s past on Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
After Heather, 51, shared her suspicions with the group, including Whitney Rose, 39, who shared similar feelings, Lisa, 50, wondered how she could be to blame for Bronwyn’s alleged past legal troubles, accused Heather of creating issues, and encouraged the cast to “get a new schtick” to use against her.
“This is the most defensive, hurtful thing Heather has accused me of. I don’t even know what she means by it,” Lisa said on the October 28 episode of the RHOSLC: After Show. “They say things like ‘Lisa has an arsenal.’ No, I don’t. You guys have an arsenal.”
According to Lisa, she can’t be the source of Bronwyn’s supposed criminal charges.
“The source is the government. The source is the online database,” she clarified. “So for Heather to be like, ‘You’re the source,’ and saying all this stuff when I’m like, ‘Heather, we’re in a good place. We worked out our issues.’ Why are you creating more?’”
While Lisa acknowledged that she and the entire RHOSLC cast are public figures and in a position where people will try to dig up dirt on them, she added that when lies are told, “people will find the truth.”
“Whatever happens in the dark comes to light, and the fact that they’ve done this to me multiple times over the last six years. It’s getting old,” she said of the cast. “Get a new schtick. I hear your gossip. You hear my gossip. No one should be digging up stuff at this point.”
In their own RHOSLC: After Show segments, Whitney accused Lisa of refusing to face issues head-on and signaled her pattern of behavior, as Bronwyn admitted Heather’s claims against Lisa “blew [her] mind.”
“Lisa has a harder time bringing things directly to people. She just goes low and name-calls when she’s mad or frustrated. And she’s always done all of her work behind our backs by talking to other people, digging up information,” Whitney alleged. “So I agree with Heather because the rest of us just go to each other with our problems, and Lisa goes to the world.”
Then, Bronwyn noted, “I was really shocked Heather went there.”
“Heather’s not the first person to tell me it’s Lisa who does it to me, to the other girls on the cast. Even my husband says it during the season, and he doesn’t spend time with the ladies,” she continued.
Elsewhere, as Britani Bateman, 54, accused Lisa and Meredith Marks, 53, of spending “a lot of their precious time … digging up dirt,” and wondered if they had “better things to do,” Mary Cosby, 53, expressed pride in Heather.
“I’m proud of Heather. She stood up to Lisa for the first time, as she should,” she stated.
