Monét X Change has found her all star.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race star, 35, announced she’s made it official with longtime partner Andy Short, revealing their engagement alongside photos of his proposal in a dark room filled with sunflowers.
“Locked in,” the drag queen (real name Kevin Akeem Bertin) wrote on Instagram Sept. 17, followed by a ring emoji and couple emoji.
Several fellow drag queens expressed their excitement, with Monet X Change’s RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 4 co-winner Trinity The Tuck writing, “OMG CONGRATS TWINNER!!!!”
The reality series’ judge Michelle Visage also shared her happiness for the couple, writing, “OMG CONGRATS!!!!!”
In a post of his own, Andy also revealed he’s the one who popped the question.
“My sweetie,” he wrote on Instagram Sept. 17, showing the Drag Race season 10 alum holding up a sparkling diamond band. “Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this little surprise.”
Andy—a personal trainer—then tagged those who helped him put together the romantic scene, adding, “oh and to my new fiancé agreeing to this.”
