Sky TV has lifted the veil off the historical drama ‘Nuremberg’ with a very tantalizing trailer that has already stirred up quite an excitement among the people daily working on the entertainment side of things. Russel Crowe, Rami Malek, Richard Grant, Leo Woodall, and Shannon are among the stars who will be acting and re-enacting the astonishing real tale of the post-war legal proceedings. The pictures that slowly start to appear in the cinema from the beginning of November will be very strong experiences because they will show the fight of the attorneys over the most significant and controversial trials in the world.

The freshly released trailer quickly and vividly pulls the viewers into the terrifying setting of the no less feared military prison for the Nazi leaders who had lost their prestige. The phrases from the lines indicate the enormous weight, strain, and thrill associated with the trials through the expressions “This will be the trial of the century” and the chilling pronouncement “1200 camps? What place do you think has the right to expect you to make believe you didn’t know about it?” among the rest. The imagery suggests that the film’s narrative would not limit itself to the legalities of the courtrooms but would also encompass the battles of sanity and Deity between the persecutors and the prosecuted. And whenever Crowe claims that “No man has ever beaten me,” the audience is left only to speculate about the grand showdown that will follow.
The revelation resulted in a global audience giving out a huge and loud positive reaction. Nonetheless, it was the cast that was the main focus of admiration, with one viewer bluntly declaring; “What a cast! Can’t wait!” Indeed, this was the case with many more as another reviewer put it, “Mark O’Brien from Newfoundland Canada – beautiful cast!” The buzz was so that a few have already made a move. An excited guy from Dallas said, “I bought my ticket yesterday. The US will open on the 6th of November across the board. But I have got the best seat in the house anyway.” This early booking is certainly a sign of great demand and big expectations from the release of the film.
The other way around the spotlight was on the main actors; the entire cast was generally credited on a point basis showing the adaptability of the cast as the key to their worldwide popularity. Richard E. Grant was one who got 100 percent of the enthusiasm from a fan in New Zealand who wrote, “I am a very excited Kiwi.” On the other hand, a different viewer expressed a more tragic yet tasting sweet feeling towards Leo Woodall’s part saying, “I cannot wait for this although I know that Leo Woodall is going to break my heart again.” This reaction gives a hint of the emotional power that the movie will be portraying, thus suggesting the actors will deliver strong and moving performances. The trust of the cast was strengthened by a bold remark concerning Rami Malek: “There is no such thing as a bad Rami Malek movie.”
The same thing could be applied to the film’s attraction subject-wise, which besides the stars was also a deep factor. The user who drew a parallel between the trailer’s supercilious and harsh justice of the Nazis and the present day dubbed the trailer “This looks great, another depiction in a long line of films examining Nazi rule and the horrors they inflicted on Jewish Europeans. Can’t wait to see the one where Netanyahu is on trial at The Hague!” This reaction points out that the historical narratives have frequently been the facilitators for reflecting on the contemporary issues. Another user put forth a more blunt rhetorical inquiry, “Are they sending a copy to the White House?” Such a reaction implies that the movie’s motifs of accountability and justice, although set in the past, are still very much alive in the current epoch.

Nuremberg’ is sure to be a film event that is great both in terms of the first-rate actors line-up and the very heavy historical tale. The loud and varied responses to the trailer have revealed an audience that is not only wishing for good films but also quite concerned with the difficult moral issues that the story raises. The film aims at bringing one of the watershed moments of the 20th century to the attention of a new generation. ‘Nuremberg,’ scheduled for a November release, is already generating the kind of discussions and excitement that usually accompanies the launch of a blockbuster.
