Scheana Shay revealed her call and texts to Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp after Teddi shared a rumor on their podcast that Scheana spread the ‘roofie’ allegations about Tamra. Meanwhile, Scheana also hinted at her “real issue” with Lala Kent.
Earlier this month, Teddi shared the rumor about Scheana. At the time, her co-host Tamra was absent. On her own podcast, Scheana declared that Tamra knew the rumor was false – but let Teddi say it anyway on the pod. The Vanderpump Rules alum called it defamation and a lie.
On her “Scheananigans” podcast, Scheana revealed her immediate response to Teddi’s comment.
“I called Tamra the day that I heard it,” recalled Scheana. “And she was like whitewater rafting or something. And so she’s like, ‘Let me call you back when I get back to the hotel’ … I never heard from her.”
So Scheana decided to address it on the podcast.
“I obviously do not want to bother Teddi with anything, and I said that to Tamra when I reached out to her,” she continued, alluding to Teddi’s cancer diagnosis. “I was like, ‘Hey, please give me a call. I don’t want to bother Teddi with this.’ And she said yeah, and then she didn’t call. So yes, I did talk about it on my podcast because you talked about it on yours.”
Scheana said she thought the rumor came from Tamra.
“Of course I’m going to assume it was Tamra, and it’s just convenient she’s not on the episode and like has Teddi do the dirty work,” she explained. “But then I’m like, was it Tamra or was it someone else? I don’t know. So I’m asking them about it. I text both of them in a group chat.”
Scheana added, “I’m like, okay, today several days have gone by, and I haven’t heard from either of you. And Tamra was like, ‘Why would I reach out to you when you did an emergency podcast and didn’t even wait for me to call you back?’ And I’m like, ‘I did not do an emergency podcast. I was recording another podcast, like two days later. I didn’t hear from you.’ … And then Teddi responded and said she was under the weather and that this was just very silly in the big scheme of things, and she was over it.”
Scheana reiterated that she was “being defamed,” and called out the podcasters for not sharing where the rumor came from. According to Scheana, their group chat has been “crickets” ever since.
At the Virtual Reali-Tea Awards, Scheana addressed her status with Lala, with whom she seems to be on the rocks. In recent weeks, both women have publicly shared their grievances.
“What’s so weird … is the fact that we will talk about each other on our podcast, and that’s how we converse,” said Scheana. “We don’t text. We don’t call each other. It’s just like, ‘Oh, you said this on your podcast. I’ll respond to it on my podcast.’ And I’m like, why can’t we just have a conversation about the real issue, which she knows what it is.”
Scheana claimed their issue is about something “personal.” She answered “TBD” when asked if she and Lala would be good on the upcoming season of The Valley.
