Selena Gomez just made Swifties’ hearts melt. The singer and actress finally shared the first photos of her best friend Taylor Swift from her wedding to Benny Blanco in September 2025 — and the posts are as emotional as their nearly two-decade-long friendship.
“In honor of SHOWGIRL .. blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later gator! I love you @taylorswift forever and always,” Selena captioned the Instagram post. The Rare Beauty founder shared a sweet video that Taylor filmed of the bride, zooming in on Selena and gushing, “Are you even serious? What? Look at her!”
She also included two photos of the pair from the big day. Taylor, ever the fashion icon, wore two stunning looks: a tan floral gown that appeared to be her ceremony outfit and a navy blue dress, seemingly from the rehearsal dinner.
As an added touch, Selena posted a screenshot of herself listening to “The Fate of Ophelia,” the lead single from Taylor’s new album The Life of a Showgirl, released October 3.
Taylor, for her part, couldn’t stop gushing about her best friend’s big day during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up on October 6. “Not just the most beautiful bride,” the 35-year-old said of Selena, 33. “Just like the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”
Noting that she’s always thrilled to see her loved ones happy, Taylor added, “[I’m] just so happy, and she deserves it so much. And you only wish that for people, you know?”
The Grammy winner was among the star-studded guest list at the Santa Barbara, California wedding on September 27. Alongside Ed Sheeran, Taylor even gave a speech at the reception, according to People. “At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night,” a source told the outlet. “The vibe was so much fun.”
“They were glowing all night, and both Selena and Benny couldn’t stop smiling. There was so much love in the room,” the insider added.
Taylor’s presence at the wedding came just weeks after she celebrated a major romantic milestone of her own. The singer announced her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce on August 26, sharing dreamy photos from his romantic garden proposal. The couple began dating in 2023, with Taylor becoming a regular at his Kansas City Chiefs games while Travis supported her at multiple Eras Tour stops worldwide.
During a recent interview with U.K.’s Heart Radio, Taylor admitted that despite referencing marriage in her beat for years, she “never thought” about her own wedding until meeting Travis. “You would think that I had been the type of person who would have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would ever do or what I would want until I met the person,” she said.
