Shannon Beador’s ex-husband, David Beador, dismissed his divorce from his current wife, Lesley Beador, months after accusing her of abuse, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
David, 60, told the court he was no longer moving forward with the divorce on August 14. He asked for the entire case to be dismissed. The judge signed off on the request.
As Us first reported, David filed for divorce from Lesley after four years of marriage on June 17. The couple wed in October 2020 and share one daughter, Anna Love.
In his petition, David had listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. He revealed they signed a prenuptial agreement before getting married. Per the discount, Lesley was to be paid $10,000 per month in spousal support for half of the length of the marriage. David had demanded joint legal and physical custody of Anna, born in 2021.

In his filing, David also requested a restraining order against Lesley over her alleged abuse. He pleaded for her to remain 100 yards away from him and his home. He asked that the only time they see each other be during custody exchanges.
David also asked that Lesley be ordered to enroll in a batterer intervention program. His petition asked for exclusive use of his Orange County, California, mansion but agreed Lesley could live in their Montana home for the summer.
“Lesley and I have had many ups and downs in our marital relationship, with prior [divorce petitions] filed and dismissed and domestic violence restraining orders,” David wrote in a declaration filed in the case.
“I have always been concerned that Lesley’s relationship with me has been primarily based upon her desire to live a luxurious standard of living. In our case [it’s] not just a cliché that Lesley married me for my money. In our case it is a fact, she has made that very clear to me literally.”

As Us previously reported, Lesley filed a petition for a restraining order against David in 2024. She alleged he was verbally abusive to her. Lesley told the court he created a hostile environment for their home and accused him of being jealous. David denied the claims.
In his recent petition, David said, “Lesley has physically abused me on several occasions and only a small portion of those incidents have been detailed in previous domestic violence actions.”
David detailed an alleged incident in June where Lesley allegedly attacked him. He said they got into an argument before leaving for vacation. He said, “We started to argue back and forth, and she made several demeaning comments, and she was again attempting to provoke me as she has done on many occasions in the past.”
“During our argument, Lesley physically attacked me, gouging large chunks of skin out of my arm,” David said. His filing included several photos of his alleged injuries. David claimed Lesley “cornered” him in the bathroom and “forcefully slapped” him at least four times across the face.
The court granted David a temporary restraining order. David dropped the restraining order on July 17.
David and Shannon, 61, were married from 2000 to 2017. They share three adult daughters.
